Frequently Asked Questions
How do I install the camera on my headset?
Our hot-plug mounting system makes installation quick and easy. Simply attach the camera module to the designated port on your Steam Frame headset.
What headsets are compatible?
Arcturus Vision Camera is exclusively compatible with Steam Frame and will not work on any other headset.
What recording quality can I expect?
Record 5K stereo video (2464×2464 per eye) at up to 60fps, or 2.5K stereo video (1232×1232 per eye) at up to 120fps, with HDR capture support.
When will my order ship?
Arcturus Vision Camera orders ship independently of Steam Frame orders and reservations. Orders placed early in the day (before 12:00pm ET for USA and before 2:00pm CET) will often ship same business day (or Monday if a weekend), and orders later will typically ship next business day. Delivery estimates are from the day the order ships.
What if my Steam Frame is delayed or canceled?
We have extended warranties against defective Arcturus Vision Camera products, whether express or statutory, so that the applicable warranty periods start when you receive your first Steam Frame. To claim coverage under this extension, you must provide proof of the date you received your first Steam Frame. This extension adds to your existing warranty and statutory rights without reducing them.
This warranty extension does not extend return or withdrawal periods. If your Steam Frame is delayed or canceled, please reach out to support before sending your camera back. We will typically accept an unopened product return even after the return deadline; our team will review your request and provide return instructions.
