Installation & controls

Open the Steam Store on Steam Frame and search for Arcturus Vision Camera or Arcturus Vision Gaussian XR. Both apps are free. Install the app from its store page, then launch it from your Steam Library.

Arcturus Vision Camera: playback controls

Use X / B on the right controller for previous / next video, Y to change viewing mode, and A to reset your view. The left View or right Menu button returns to the gallery.

Gaussian XR: explore a scene

Select Enter Scenes. Move with the left thumbstick and rotate with the right. Hold both grip buttons and move your hands to scale the scene. Press A to recenter; click the left / right thumbstick for the previous / next scene.

Sync: convert a recording

Select downloaded recordings and choose Convert selected, or use Convert other files. Choose Stereo MV-HEVC for Apple Vision Pro, side-by-side for Meta Quest or a standard 3D player, or Monoscopic Video for 2D. Choose an output folder, then Convert video.

Gaussian XR: add your own scenes

Transfer compatible PLY or SOG files into the GaussianXR folder in Documents on your Steam Frame. Gaussian XR automatically discovers them. Gaussian splatting converts a collection of images into a realistic 3D environment that you can explore interactively.

Sync: connect your computer

When downloads are available, install Sync on your computer. On Mac, open the disk image and drag the app to Applications. Enable Developer Mode in Steam Frame’s Settings → System, connect by USB, and keep the headset awake. When ADB shows Connected, choose Transfer selected or Sync all.
